Prague does not plan to send its instructors directly to Ukraine, given the geographical proximity of the two countries.

The Czech Republic can train four thousand Ukrainian military personnel on its territory this year. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Jana Chernokhova, on Saturday, June 8, reports iDnes .

She recalled that last year four thousand military personnel from Ukraine were trained in the Czech Republic. The same number has been approved for this year.

“As soon as we receive information that a change has been made, we provide our training facilities and instructors,” said the Czech Defense Minister.

At the same time, she clarified that the maximum number of “changes” is 800 military personnel.

At the same time, Chernokhova stated that the Czech Republic does not plan to send its instructors directly to Ukraine, given the geographic proximity of the military training grounds in Libau and Olomouk to the neighboring state. According to Chernokhova, some countries are considering this possibility due to their distance from Ukraine.
