The regulator abolished permission to build houses on the territory of NAU

The investment agreement for the construction of 14 residential complexes is contrary to the interests of the university. The officials who made this decision must be held accountable.

14 residential complexes will not be built on the territory of the National Aviation University in Kyiv. The corresponding permit was canceled by the State Inspectorate of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine (DIAM), according to the university’s website .

It is noted that at the meeting of the NAU supervisory board, all documents on the investment agreement for the development of the territory, concluded back in 2007, were reviewed and studied in detail.

“Taking into account all the available facts and materials, it was decided to take the following actions: to carry out claims work on the investment agreement, which is contrary to the interests of the university, to cancel the permit for the construction of 14 residential complexes, to obtain responsibility for the officials who led to the adoption of decisions, which led to the loss of state property and stagnation of the university,” the statement says.

NAU recalled that on July 19, 2022, the court accepted for consideration DIAM’s claim to invalidate and cancel the urban planning conditions of April 29, 2014, which preceded the issuance of permission to build 14 new residential complexes on the territory of NAU.
